First on the scene of the unfortunate airplane crash in 1964, and was able (50 years later) to pinpoint from memory the location of the site so that divers could locate and place a plaque on the wreckage,
Surveying Argus Bank prior to the erection of Argus Island, and supplying the tower in the early years of it's existence.
