On occasion, SOFAR would lease the 'Freelance' for work out of her home base in Antugua.  It was sometimes more cost-effective to fly the personnel down to Antigua, than for Sir Horace to steam down there for a short mission.  (Tests for Operation SCAVE were conducted once a month, and lasted only 1 day.)  'Freelance' made a couple of journeys 'up North' to Bermuda, and her captain, Bruno Brown, became well known to many of the SOFAR staff in the '60s.
