Graham Lobb.
Valerie Lobb Biscoe remembers ...

"My recollections of SOFAR are vague as I was quite young when my Dad, Graham Lobb,
worked  there.  I do, however, have a vivid recollection of spending a day with my Dad
at work on at least one occasion.  My recollection is of a  long, narrow room; a
fish tank and keeping myself occupied by colouring  something...hope it wasn't
anything important!  I also remember feeling  quite cold...was the building
highly air conditioned?
"There are  several names that I remember,  particularly yours and Sonny Minors.
I do recall Sonny Minors visiting us at our house on a couple of occasions.  Think
he and my Dad got along really well.  I'm sure that Sonny must be  long gone by
now.  Alas, so is my Dad...10 years ago this past August!
"I quizzed my Mum to see what she remembered of my Dad's years at SOFAR.
Despite her age, her long term memory is pretty intact.  With some prompting from
me, she seemed quite certain (almost adamant) that my Dad worked at SOFAR for
13 years.  When asked when he started work at SOFAR, although a bit vague, she
seemed to think he was working at SOFAR when they were married in 1959.  If her
recollection is correct, he would have been there from approximately 1959 - 1972.
Does that sound about right  to you?
"Not sure if we have any pictures to add to your website."
